X-Wing time.
Martin again gets to play the forces of order and I have to be the Rebel scum again.

Sounds like a fun time. I have slowly lost the passion for X-Wing, having it drubbed out of me by some terrible tournament experiences. Hopefully I will come back to the game as I want to try out the Scum & Villainy stuff when it is released.

Tom,

That's why I never play tournament games. I want to have fun not have to poke a stick in my eye.

I have had a similar reaction to bad experiences at tournaments. My gaming group is just now getting into X-Wing, and I can't get excited about it. I also feel like the newer ships and the newer abilities/upgrades are designed to keep you buying new stuff just to keep up (of course). (That said, I still stand by my XYXY flight every chance I have!)

Great write-up, btw!

Yeah, it seems more like it is about the tournaments anymore. More and more special abilities, pilots, etc.

Thanks chaps, I think I'll stay away from the tournament 'experience' :-)

And this is why I too avoid tournaments as if they were flea-infested rats fresh from Asia.
