Latest post:

Graham & I were sat in the pub yesterday having our regular post game debrief when I asked Graham what turned out to be a key question: did he win by luck or better strategy? Intresting.

Can you win a game with perfect tactics and stragetgy even if you only get bad dice rolls?

You make some good points, and I agree about players who blame their losses on bad luck not learning from their mistakes. I believe you make your own luck. If you play well you can suffer a little bad luck and not come out too badly, but if you play badly then the instances of bad luck really hurt you.
I then looked at your last blog post prior to this, only to find a photo of me! Aargh!

No.

I once played a game where someone was watching what we were up to and he said afterwards:

"I could see how your tactics were working and you had your opponent completely out manoeuvered but then you had to start rolling dice and that's when it came apart"

About par for the course in my world.
