Set up a board where traders can announce special offers, sales and promotions. There would be no need to hunt through a range of boards and Hobby News to find out about offers. |

I very rarely support the idea of a new board, but I can actually see the point of this one – particularly handy for traders who hold occasional "flash" sales, for which hobby news isn't always much use, as it can take a few days to appear if things are busy. |

Problem with the marketplace is that some people post many times, so that single posts move off the front page rather quick.
I agree with Gennorm, seems like a good idea. I'm sure the advertisers would like a place to post sales and special offers. |

Like Dom, I am usually not in favor of new boards, because of the tendency to scatter information too widely, making it difficult to find. But this does sound like it might be a useful way of centralizing information, making it actually easier to find. |
