I ran a demo game last week at our Local and thought I'd post a few pics. I have 20mm Aussies and Japs so did a basic Patrol scenario from the rules. Not a lot of support, just a platoon each and the Diggers opted for a Universal carrier and the Japanese went with "Ruse".
The unit listings are free on the TFL Yahoo group or Forum.
People got to see how the rules compare to other sets and all comments were favorable.

Gorgeous table as ever Mark – how you stop people drooling on your terrain is a mystery to me…. ;-)

Beautiful table and figures.

Wow, and I thought you could 'only' make amazing looking 6mm games. Someday I shall have to travel to Georgia to worship at your table.

Truly amazing, I appreciate you taking the time to share the photos with us.

Jack

Agreed! Would you share what the long grass matting is? That's some of the best I've seen.

Microbiggie18 Nov 2014 10:43 a.m. PST

The grass is a fabric called "Grizzly Bear" fur as opposed to "Teddy Bear" fur. It come in a nice dark brown color so is easier to color into a natural grass color.
Thanks

And looks far more scruffy!
Thanks – now to find a teddy bear supply shop. Wargaming takes us to strange places …
