Okay, so I've never gotten involved in a Kickstarter but based on the title I thought I'd look this over. But I'm concerned. Other than the five adventure figures pack (the one with the Indiana Jones like character), I'm pretty sure all of the other figures have been around for some time. So, is this the way Kickstarters normally work? 'Cuz I thought they were all about something new in the market. Here even the rules aren't really new, just updated if I'm reading it right. Not to say any of this is bad – it just seems a lot different than what I was expecting.

Please tell me what, exactly, in this offering is new? I do want that pack of figures with the Indiana Jones figure but I have most of the other figures I'd be interested in. Will those be available separately? Thanks.

I was interested, but unless the stretch goals get much better 100 USD (plus 10 USD postage) for 39 x 15mm figures and a rulebook is a bit rich for my pocket.

Just to clarify – This is a THW Kickstarter and Acheson Creations and Rebel Minis are the manufacturers I chose to buy figures from to fit the Lost Lands rules. Just like when a board game is created you use a board game manufacturer.

It's covers the new rules as well as the new figures, the five adventurers – the other figures in the set were added to make a complete party without having to order three different packs and maybe more figures than needed.

US postage is actually included in the 100 USD pledge, there was a hiccup in the first one. You are correct, the additional $10 USD helps to cover the additional cost for international shipping.

The 39 figures include the dinosaurs and mammals that are packaged as a set and not offered as a set elsewhere.

Bought separately, the rules, figures etc. and shipping from 3 manufacturers is more expensive. It's set up as a one stop-shop package with roughly a 20% discount over what it would normally sell for.

All the figures, even the Stretch Goals will be available after the closing and from each manufacturer but at a higher cost.

For the record, my concerns have been satisfied. Now just need to decide whether or not to dip my toe in the water – and keep an eye on the clock (or the calendar, if you prefer).
