"I've spent some time putting together a number of composite shots of my Phase II Enterprise in various scenes (some of which were inspired by scenes familiar to most Trek fans). These images are intended to help visualize how the Phase II Enterprise might have looked in action. Besides the fact that the study model is small (about one-third the size of the studio model) and static (all "lit" elements have been added in Photoshop), these images are different from how the model might have looked in a 1978 TV series in that I did them at higher resolution and could take more time because each is a single image rather than part of a filmed sequence. For a good comparison as to how the effects footage might have looked, effects from the original "Battlestar Galactica" series would be a good example of TV quality effects about the time that Phase II would have been hitting the air…"
