Any suggestions for making Modern or SF-looking metal shelves (either standalone or wall shelves) for use in labs, warehouses or cargo bays, for 15mm gaming?

QUESTIONS:

Did you convert something from around the house into metal shelves or did you build them directly from scratch? And, if the latter, what materials did you use? Got pics of the end result?

Thanks,

Dan

Was thinking you could take ladders in that scale and then add styrene strips for the shelves.

If you go to Stoezels Structures on Wargames vault they make modern buildings with interior shelves and accessories.

Granny cloth and plactic sheets, use the large grid ones and cut them looking like ladders then cut plastic sheets in then strips and then glue themin place as shelves

Tell me which kind you want, CC, and I can whip up some for you and have them on Shapeways in a day or two.

Awesome! The last pic on my original post would be great, perhaps shoulder height to a based 15mm figure?

I think that the slant would allow for easier access to grab figures and move them around.

Thanks so much,

Dan
PS. I still want to try some of the suggestions offered here, like the 7-mesh plastic canvas, for added variety:
