Okay, so this 15mm stuff is getting crazy around here… :D (My house.) I've heard rumors of an imminent release for BGK in PDF…any chance that'll be in 2014? I'm anxious to get this stuff on the table. Well, after I receive my orders, paint them up and get some 15mm terrain ready, etc. You know the drill.

Also, there are rumors of Battlegroup North Africa (or some version of that) as well…that's even more tempting.

Any knowledge out there on the subject?

Many thanks!

Robert

Same here. interested in a battlegroup North Africa, though on another thread it was noted that you can use the Overlord lists for Italy at least.

There has been no specific timeline other than "soon", as per the thread here TMP link .

The forthcoming books are Blitzkrieg, and then Early Desert War. I can't remember the dates on those, though, and I don't want to give bad info by guesstimating. Sorry.

BG Blitz should be out for Salute 2015, for the 75th anniversary. Piers wanted to get all the new vehicle types thoroughly playtested.

This means that the North Africa books will also be delayed a bit.

Which is good, because North Africa will grab my poor wallet and make it squeal for mercy.

Thanks for the info! Good excuse to start out with BG Overlord/Kursk and then drop a mint in the desert next year. Oh myyyy.

Working on BGK pdf at mo… not sure when it will be ready, hopefully before Xmas.

North Africa… likely Salute 2016 unless Blitz blitzes its sales!

Well, now I can definitely order mid-war German armor with a clear conscience! :D 2016 for N. Africa??? Noooooo! :D Wait, it'll take me that long to paint up a force anyways…

Thanks for the update, Piers!

You could do Brit vs German late 41 onwards right off the bat as practically all the DAK equipment will be in the BG Barbarossa and Kursk lists, while most of the Brit stuff will either be in Overlord or one of the lend-Lease Russian battle groups. It shouldn't be too hard to come up with equivalent values for Italian stuff…….

Piers, how's that Kursk PDF coming along? :)

I went ahead and picked up Fall of the Reich and the mini rulebook – great stuff. Oh, and some 15mm PSC British and German goodies…

Dunno… Making Woz layout my Blitz book at mo, so my fault…

Goshawk16 Dec 2014 1:54 p.m. PST

No worries…I have plenty of BG to keep me busy for quite some time.

According to a news letter from Plastic Soldier the African books will be released during 2016. Blizkrieg as we know will be released April 2015 and there will be a mystery release November 2015
