Apologies for the deletion above……..

Hello All,

I have a lot of WWII 1/32 figures hanging round like a bad smell, and I'm thinking of painting them up to sell on E-Bay, I have a lot of large steel washers I'm going to base them up on, and knock out some 1:1 Platoons.
My question is this, which popular rule sets for WWII use single based figures? I know of Chain of Command, and Bolt Action, but which others?

I suppose some people do or would consider 1/32nd scale for these games and others – I'd guess not as popular as 28mm or 20mm.

If painted attractively I'm sure you'd find buyers but I don't think you're 'seizing a market' so to speak.

Also – I suspect pretty difficult to get any 1/32nd platoon to the correct TOE for a proper game – depending on what company produced them. Usually too many of one pose and not enough support weapons from what I remember.

Ah, but I am a fiend with the greenstuff, so intend to re-produce all the elements of the Platoons, from mortars, to anti-tank rifles, to PIATs, runners, the works, lotsa conversions, hopefully make them a little more tempting!

Soooo, rulesets?

Pretty much any platoon-sized skirmish game, such as Rules of Engagement, Rate of Fire, The Face of Battle etc. As well as Rapid Fire (which seems to be a bit of an odd bird to define).

That said, if you are going to sell the figures rather than play with them, what do you need ruleset recommendations for?

At 1 to 1 a platoon is a platoon, surely, irrespective of the rules?..unless the rules are cobblers, of course

The rule recommendations are to add to the E-Bay listing, to pick up peoples searches, that's all, thanks for all the recommendations. :-)
