The latest copy of Doctor Who Adventures magazine comes with a Monster Advent Calendar, containing 25 of the mini monsters you get with the mag sometimes. I picked up a copy and find it very tempting to paint a figure per day over December, but it is a bit beyond my free time allocation at the moment. Sure, at least half aren't that good for gaming, but I figure it's a bit of fun. Thanks!

There's nothing new; the newer additions are the Ice Warriors & Zygons, which appeared for the first time in the previous giveaway. Both appear to be scaled around 20mm. The Weeping Angels and Daleks remain the pick of the bunch – they're sized quite nicely for 28mm. It's still worth buying – I have about thirty Daleks and a dozen Angels stockpiled from this and previous giveaways. If only I could get round to painting them (and the Amy Pond in my leadpile…) |

Come on Redroom! How could I open my Advent Calendar before 1st December?! ;) Erraticassassin: Yup, I'm hoping for a a couple of Daleks and Angels in there. Although I was also quite pleased with how the Silence figures paint up! |
