Some great work gone into creating individuals in these ranks. Bare headed, bandaged, the sergeant with his spontoon. Well worth going to the site itself and note how many of the figures literally are individuals portrayed in 28mm. There are "only" about 270 we are told. Impressive for "only" and probably gives an idea of the dimensions of many a square by the end of the day….even if the centre might have been more crowded with the wounded and slain
