We had a great time at Warfare today. My local club ran a pirates versus dinosaurs game that went down really well:

The traders seemed to be doing some decent business but it was a little less crowded than the last few years. On the plus side, it did make it easier to have a decent chat with the hard working people behind the scenes, which is always a pleasure.

:O)

"a little less crowded thgan the last few years"

That's strange – to me, trading, today seemed far busier than it has for several years and positively crowded. The announcement by the organisers that the attendance was a record seems to confirm this.

Dammit, if only I'd realised it was your game I'd have made a point of saying hello!

I only made it into the trader hall after 2pm, so that probably made a difference?

Anyway, it's great that business has been up this year, which has to be a good thing for everyone!

I didn't detect any frazzled traders, in fact quite the opposite, which helped to make the whole thing a very enjoyable day out.

Never mind David…I'm sure we'll meet up at some point in 2015!

In the morning it was really busy and I heard a few traders comment that they had a good day. After lunch a bit quieter and dare I say it more pleasant (good grief I'm getting old lol)

I'm the trade organiser for Warfare, and whilst I don't have any hard figures I can confirm attendance was deffinitely well up and most traders were reporting very good takings. The rest were reporting OK takings. No one yet complained they are having a bad year

Just in case anyone is coming up on Sunday a couple of small announcements.

MJ Miniatures cancelled for personal reasons some time ago, apologies that I did not remove that from all lists of traders attending.

Peter Pigg was only able to attend for the one day so he will not be here Sunday. (all other traders will be present Sunday)

Dark Realm Miniatures had a medical emergency and had to cancel a few hours before the show and will not be there tomorrow either. We wish them well with their issues and hope their wife is much better shortly.

Today was very hectic and has been a huge blast (Except for the lake outside the entrance!)

Hope to see some more of you tomorrow, because of the cancellation of Colours this year most traders have bought extra stock, so there will still be plenty for you to buy on Sunday.

I was there yesterday and it definitely felt busier than previous years. My only minor niggle would be that the venue is almost a victim of its own success in that the main hall felt very crowded at times – is there any way that more space can be occupied elsewhere in the venue?

At times it was almost impossible to get a wheelchair around the traders hall and I gave up in the games hall.

Well done to the organizers. I was there Saturday afternoon and I actually thought the trading hall was quite pleasant and not too packed. Thankfully few of the dreaded back packs. The gaming hall was buzzing. Really enjoyed seeing the jacobite game and talking to the participants. A double shopping trip for me as no Colours.
