I have a box of warlord's British for the Anglo-Zulu war. Would those figures work for the Anglo-Afghan wars given they wars were generally around the same time period and I imagine the force was using the roughly the same equipment and gear? Any substantial changes I would need to consider. Thanks! |

I've done a quick image search through both Bing and Google. It would seem to me that you could just use figures painted up for the Anglo-Zulu War. But you would be well advised to include some troops in khaki uniforms as well. I guess it really mostly depends on whether you're building a force dedicated to playing games set in the Second Anglo-Afghan War. Or if you mean to have a force that is used in more than one war. Were it my force I would start with the first group painted as in red uniforms and then add to that. Gradually including British troops in khaki. And later adding some Indian troops. If that isn't inappropriate. Thus my free advice. And it's worth every penny you paid for it. |

Seems the `big difference `for khaki uniforms is the introduction of puttees for the troops on the lower legs. Easy enough conversion to scrape the trousers to leg shape and paint in details. |

Thanks for the info! As suggested, will paint them up as anglo – Zulu war figures and just add a bit to that. Thanks. |

I've seen images of troops in khaki coats, with blue trousers and puttees or boots. A neat uniform in my opinion. |
