Finally got some paint on these bad boys and am pretty happy with them. Again, I'm super impressed with the decals for these. The hips and ankles are held together with wire and I'm still not sure how the legs are supposed to be positioned. That would be a great bit of information for the manufacturers to share. Oh, and the bases are so unique that they are DOUBLE BEVELED!

Very nice. Not a fan of the double beveled bases, but that's a minor quibble. Sounds like you're having much the same issues with difficulty in assembly as other folks. |

Actually, I kinda like the double-bevel on the base. Makes it very easy to pick up the model by the base while still keeping the base thin. I'm still debating how to do my bases, torn between detailing them up and just leaving them plain black like an old-school console game shadow. Those are some good-looking Tomahawks (and Glaug), Roebeast45! What is frustrating me the most is the Valks. Damn are those heads fiddly! Good thing they have the full set of -A, -J, -R, and -S heads on each sprue. |
