Okay, posted on another related thread but my main question is answered here.
Adventurers? Want? Check.
Cave women? Want? Double Check.
Four new adventurers? Want? Check. (will want to see, of course)
Germans? Want? Check. (and ditto above parenthetical)
Civilians? Want? Double Check.
Maybe some more cave folk, like youngsters and leaders, a camp site (did I see that somewhere in the Kickstarter?)
Now, here is the real need (though there are some suitable items floating around out there in the 15 mm world): ice age animals – wooly mammoths, wooly rhinos, saber tooth tigers, and a variety of others.
And to allow 15 mm pulp to truly unfold we need vehicles (not HO, and not Hot Wheels, actual specially designed vehicles for 15 mm). Cars and trucks that fit the 1910 to 1935 time period. A boat or two, one should be a tug and the other something like the boat from the movie The African Queen, and at least one tramp steamer for the King Kong wanna bees. And then a couple of 1910 to 1935 aeroplanes (as opposed to airplanes!) one of which needs to be something along the lines of the Pan Am Clipper (maybe writ smaller for modeling purposes). And the 'piece de resistance' would be a zeppellin style air vessel (again, probably better if writ small – but not too small).
And more women!!!!!!!!! Femme fatales, heroines, those with questionable morales, damsels in distress, etc.
And I really, really want to see some Polynesian civilians, male and female, younger and older, the common folk and the royals, king and queen, prince and princess. And a war drummer! And a war canoe with crew. And all attired for pre-contact rather covered up by uptight missionary morality.
Not to ask is not to receive. And others are welcome to chime in their support for my ideas. Do I hear another Kickstarter in the nearer future?
Oh, yeah, those things out and coming, they will be available to all at some not too distant point, yes?
Oh, heck, might as well go for broke – how about some musicians and other folks to populate a cabaret, entertainers and customers at their tables, wait staff, etc.? Think Indiana Jones and the scene where we meet Short Round.
No, I never believe in asking for too much.
