Trying to work through my remaining B5 minis from the pile of lead:

Looks great to me. What colors did you use to pull that off? I've got a Sharlin in the works as well and would love to hear some tips about how you did that paint job.

Thanks! It is 4 layers. Started with a black primer coat using Wal-Mart Flat spray. First layer was Vallejo deep sky blue (066), drybrush of the same color mixed with white to add highlights, layer of Armypainter strong shade, light drybrush of Vallejo deep sky blue again mixed with a little white. Blue line work is Reaper 09116 Brilliant Blue.

These always intimidated me. Fairly pleased with the results.

I dont know if you have seen my B5 Decals.

These will help I'm sure.

Mike your constant barrage of inspiring and beautifully executed miniature spaceships is weakening my resolve :(

Come on, Anton. In space no one can hear your wallet scream

My final B5 related challenge will be the Mongoose B5 Gaim intelligence fleet. I designed those ships for them years ago and based them on 30 year old sketches I had in an old notebook from an old Starfire Campaign.

Only Warlock14 Nov 2014 4:08 p.m. PST

Right now I have fleets for Narn, Centauri, Earth Alliance, Minbari, Raiders, and the Gaim Intelligence. Still need to pick up some Drazi. Always liked those crazy bastards.

Only Warlock14 Nov 2014 4:08 p.m. PST

Oh forgot Shadows. I have those too.

smoltz29brave14 Nov 2014 4:17 p.m. PST

The ship intimidates me as well. It's a tough one to get right. I've pushed it to the back of the painting queue a number of times.

Only Warlock14 Nov 2014 4:21 p.m. PST

Once I got going it was easier than I expected. Now it looks intimidating to the Earth Alliance!

darthfozzywig14 Nov 2014 10:17 p.m. PST

Looks great!

Minbari and Narn paint schemes are tough. You have done very well. I cant get either of these two right. I game fleet action scale and have every fleet Agents of Gaming produced. All are painted except those two which I have put on the back burner for over ten years.

KTravlos15 Nov 2014 2:39 p.m. PST

Pretty good.

BThree21 Jan 2015 8:47 p.m. PST

Nice Minbari paintjob! I have the master molds for most of the Drazi ships if you want some crisp unpressed copies.

Darkrazor02 Feb 2015 3:05 p.m. PST

I have several B5 Decals that can help.
