My first Panzers have arrived today and I obviously couldn't wait any longer..

Here the first one:

The commander's head is from Warlord.0

With infantry:

Quite an easy build, about an hour. I'm sure the next one will be faster.
Great product.
Guess I'll start painting it tonight 8)

They do look nice……I'm hankering!

Trouble is, nice as they are, they are no cheaper than a resin tank andI'd rather have the beefier resin and not have to build the thing if I'm honest.

my main concern is that the rubicon kits, designed and produced in China, are more expensive than the resin kits produced in UE or north America …

I can buy a medium tank crusader platoon from Blitzkrieg for 71 €uros post paid , i can buy a tiger 1 platoon from Die Waffenkammer for 70 €uros post paid …
medium tank platoon from rubicon is around 66€ + postage
tiger platoon is around 90 € + postage …
I have made my choice …

That's absolutely true of course.
I like plastic much better though, for various reasons. The 1:48 kits, however, are really too fiddly and fragile even for me. So here it is, a welcome alternative in plastic and 1:56 scale.
The Panzer III was / is their fist release and has some inaccuracies but they seem to listen to their customers well enough to make me look forward to all upcoming releases.

Cheers

I bought the PzIII and the Sherman last week and putting them together reminded me of the old Airfix kits from the 70's except the Rubicon kits are easier to do.

I've just primed them and I'm really impressed with how they've turned out. While they are not as detailed as JFTM they do make good wargame models and I can forgive any minor inaccuracies. I also feel more confident building plastic models over resin, by that I mean I know I can repair plastic, resin I'm not so sure about. The versatility of popping on and off the schurtzen on the PzIII is a plus to me.

I'll be getting more, hope they'll do a British Sherman soon or a Churchill.

Just noticed they are looking at modular houses now!

Thanks for the positive comments and constructive feedback. Regarding pricing, we are very price competitive with other resin or plastic kit manufacturers. We are gamers and modelers ourselves, so we know what other people are looking for in a 1/56 gaming model.

We are not perfect, there is always a learning curve to improve our design and production methodology. If you have brought our kits, you will definitely noticed some small improvements from kit to kit.

We do have a forum (forum.rubiconmodels.com) for our beloved customers to leave comments and feedback so that we can excel ourselves and improve our products.

Thanks again for all your support!
