Anyone know how the Australian SAS patrols were organized in Vietnam?

saltflats192911 Nov 2014 8:28 p.m. PST

According to Force on Force Ambush Valley:
5 man patrols
1x leader SLR
1x pointman smg or m16 (post 1967)
1x RTO smg or m16
2x scout SLR
Add M79 in 67
Add xm148 in 68 (added to M16 and improvised mounts on SLR)
Add xm203 in 70 (as above)
Possible silenced SMG and shotgun by mission.
10-12 man patrols were the usual with 15-20 man patrols being uncommon.
