In 2015 the Bomann-Museum in Celle will show a huge exhibition about the Battle of Waterloo with particular emphasis on the Hanoverian troops. We're happy to organize a symposium about Waterloo and the "German influence" on this battle in September 2015. The symposium will be held on Saturday 19th September 2015 and will be accompanied by a visit of the exhibition with the curator on the 20th September. A lot of originals will be shown together with a vast diorama of the whole battlefield.

I would be really happy to welcome foreign speakers covering a certain aspect of the 1815 campaign and in case you're interested in holding a speech, please follow the instructions given in the call for papers: PDF link

After having completed the final program I'll publish a note again here.

Greetings from Germany
Markus Stein

Dear Marcus
I would hopefully be able to attend this year and would wish to sort out accomodation with you. Alas my spoken German is poor. I will have published by then my Book on the Hanoverian 7YW Army.
