Dear List Over the past couple of months many of you have asked me for my rules for ancients, modern naval, Campaigns, 18th century and a few others. Unfortunately at the same time my wife was struck with a mysterious and lingering illness which she is just now coming out of, so I have had time to break my mind free and take care of these things. Anyway, the stuff is now mailed and on the way, and it should arrive soon. If in a week or two you don't get everything, let me know at sigurd@eclipse.net what I forgot about and I will send it to you. Thanks for being patient. Otto |

the rules it's only toy soldiers. Family is important. Glad to hear that your wife is on the mend. I know that the added stress of having a loved one ill and not being sure whats causing can drive you crazy. Hope things keep getting better. Fatman |

The mysterious and lingering ones are the 2nd most frustrating (mysterious and intermittent are #1 in this regard- it never coincides with the appointments). Glad your wife is better. Are you getting the support? Looking after someone you love can be draining. |

Dear List I thank you all for you kind solicitations. I do however regret having had to leave so many people in limbo for so long. It is a fetish with me to keep commitments, and the time lost was vexing and frustrating to me. I was even late mailing the issues of Saxe N' Violets, my gaming newsletter, even though they had been printed a while ago. Thanks again for the kind words. I sometimes have a hunch that gamers throughout the world form their own little nerdy, geeky little village, and even if someone lives thousands of miles away there is a bond that spans the distance, and therefore, commitments broken to them are especially painful as we're sort of letting our neighbors and friends in our village down. Thanks again. Otto |

I'm glad to hear your wife is doing better, Otto. Reminds me, I really do need to dig out your rules again and run them past a friend of mine, see if I can get him interested in pushing lead again, not just RP'ing. |
