Hate to naysay, but it doesn't look right for a Diamond T. Bumper, radiator form, lack of cooling vents along the side of the hood, even the number of nuts on the wheel hubs are all wrong – I just don't see it.

Looks more like an older Mack model to me – trying to find a more head-on shot to check though:

Convinced myself at least – no way that's a Diamond T – I think it's an early model Mack LMSW, before they got the swinging booms fitted. (Ie. from a lend-lease British contract, rather than the subsequent mainly Canadian orders.) In particular look at the second picture in the second row:

it's indeed a Mack LMSW-23

some were transfered to the Free French by the British
