Some shots of the game I ran at Fall-In using TFL Chain of Command. This game originally debuted at "NJCON6-Fire in the East" earlier this year. The initial British assault was a disaster, but the Ox and Bucks pressed on and managed to get over the bridge and get to business. Fortunately for the British paras they rolled a pair of sixes with their command dice just as they closed with the Germans on the West side of the bridge. A reasonably historical outcome all said and done. link Hope you enjoy. TRU |

Beautifully done, and not least the water effects. |

Excellent looking game and models. One point though. Having dealt with some of these guys and I know that they wore Red Berets, but they would take exception to being called 'Paras'. |

Thanks for the positive comments. Good point Arty! The Paras reinforced the initial glider assault force. TRU |

I believe it was also one of the best in show. Had "Walk Quietly and carry a big stick" not won, it would have. |

Terrific!! I was there in 2007, here are some pics link Note that the bridge you see now is a new one. They needed to expand the canal and also the bridge. The real bridge is off to the side about 50 yards. You can still see the bullet marks on it. It was going to be destroyed, ie recycled, but a group of veterans rounded up enough cash to save it. Enjoy ps if you click on the pics you will see my descriptions at the bottom On one more thing, there is a building behind the tavern, a ways back, that had a german unit which fought against the paratroopers…ie taking shots from the building, which was on orphanage at the time. Info comes from the Pegasus bridge officer. Joe |
