I finished the command element to go with my 1/72 scale DBA goblin army. It's a mix of 1/72 plastic soldiers and 20mm metal. Andrew FerrousLands.com |

Orcs seem to be well covered, as are the undead. These look really well done. Nice job! |

is there much fantasy available in 1:72nd scale? Caesar has a respectable range as does Dark Alliance/Red Box. There are of course other makers of 20mm fantasy. Splintered Light has some offerings. Finally, large monsters done for 28mm figures work really well for 1/72 scale figures. Nice looking horde Ferrous Lands! EDIT Forgot one. Wargames Supply Dump has some nice looking Elves. |

Thanks, guys. Yeah, there are maybe 3 plastic 1/72 sets of orcs/goblins. Caesar has 1/72 elves, dwarves, undead, and fantasy adventurers. Splintered Light's 20mm fantasy range can supplement that. And real-life Medieval soldiers can substitute pretty well for fantasy. I'm using El Cid Spanish as elves. They have chain mail and tear drop shaped shields, which seems pretty elvish. Not just medievals – there are vast amounts of plastics that are very useful human fantasy armies. |

Take a look here: link Arcane Legions figs go fairly cheaply too. |
