Last year it was gingerbread men and Flintloque, this year it is Colonial America and werewolves. Why not?!

I usually end up thinking about what Christmas project I will have for myself around the end of October, so it is no surprise that an element of horror usually creeps in…

I have written a mini-campaign I plan on using with the Long Rifle rules from THW. I'm hopefully at the final draft stage now, so have posted a link to the 4 page PDF on my blog.

Feel free to take a look and comment. It is only a brief post this time, I hope to have more detailed ones about how the project develops later.

Thanks!
Chris

funny you posted this cause I'm working on 15mm ratmen to do battle with my 15mm AWI British for a recreation of the battle in the nutcracker.

Oooh! Nice. That should be an impressive game to see!

I got a flash of a Weird Nappy game with huge Nutcracker Mecha fighting hordes of enemy Ratmen….

I use a 20mm gawdy painted Napoleon General as the Nutcracker. Since I have daughters, I also had to paint up a 15mm female character…. lol They get a bonus in melee and their leadership helps units with in their command radius when rolling morale.

to counter the soldiers cannon, the ratmen get generic catapults. They are not good at ranged combat but get a bonus in melee.

Do you have a blog or something? Would definitely like to see that game! Nutcrackers and ratmen are two of my favourite things. Haha

Sounds awesome.
Werewolves and regular wolves, I hope? That gives the players a variety of targets to shoot at.

Sounds interesting. We've been promised another Zombies game for Christmas – getting to a bit of a tradition now.

I have limited gaming time over Christmas, even less now I am a new dad, so it is a solo game using Long Rifle. The opposition will include Wolves, Werewolves and Indians depending on how the enemy contacts are resolved.

I have no idea if it is going to turn into a one sided slaughter, I'm only having a hardy group of settlers under my command!

Chris – sorry, no blog. If I can figure out how to post pictures on here I can post an AAR.

With the tv show sleepy Hollow fox.com/sleepy-hollow there are many scenerios we can put together.

Ironwolf: no worries. It sounds like an interesting game to see pictures of though! :)
