All, Just got the rules. I'm leaning towards Baltic Crusades or Wars of the Roses. For the former, what is out there in 28mm plastic to represent the Pagan tribes of the Baltic region? Could I get away with using Vikings? Nick |

Slightly off topic, but, I was at my local FLGS yesterday and they had postcard-sized handouts advertizing a "Lion Rampant" LARP. FYI: lionerampant.com |

That's a quick hijacking, even for TMP. Look at the Old Glory "Mongols in Europe" setion of their Medieval range; they have Poles, Germans, Russians, Lithuanians and Eastern European peasants. |

I would think that things had moved on from the Viking era, even among the most obscure Baltic tribe. You are better off using figures of the right era that are meant to represent poorer, less well equipped chaps. The only plastics that may be of use that I am aware of are from Fireforge…. fireforge-games.com |

Yes, there is some stuff in 1/72 plastic, but he asked about 28s. |

For unarmoured infantry, Gripping Beast has a 28 mm plastic set called "Dark Age Warriors" that might be of some use. Comes with 40 models with options for spears, javelins and slings. |

My tip is to use the Germans from Black Tree design (the Ancient Germans!…) Pick the packs with guys in fur jerkins and give them Kite shields from Gripping Beast. oh hang on -you said plastic. |

Ah, yes, he did say plastic, so the 1/72 reference makes sense. In that case, no, other than 1/72 figures, I am not aware of any plastic figs for the Baltic Crusades. |
