Am considering getting a few to add variety my BF and PP (and PSC EW Germans on order), especially the support weapons. Has anyone tried these, they look very good on the website? |

I have at least one set of each Essex German WWII Infantry packs. The best ones are the MG-34/42 Tripod mounted sets. All of the Essex figures have ugly "ape" faces and over-sized helmets however, so head swaps are in order. Besides the MG teams and the tank commanders, I don't really care for most of the other figures, however, that's just my opinion. |

It's odd, the British never seemed to have "ape" faces, and the heads aren't as unreasonably large as the Germans. I wonder if different sculptors did them, or if the Germans came first and the later figures profited by the experience gained. |

Don't know, but I replaced the heads on mine. |
