Watching THAT episode of Game of Thrones, I was struck by how homely the Frey women were. The books indeed described them as dire. So I wondered how their agents described the part. "They want you to stand in line and look really homely."
Ever notice how every actress looks like a model? Not here.

I should point out that the Frey men were no prizes either. Black Walder Rivers and Lame Lothar Frey in particular looked slimy.

Yup, all they have to do is mess up their hair and not do makeup and they look homely. Dorky glasses help too (not so useful for GOT)
