I'm sorry, that was cruel, because I'm about to disappoint you. The description was accurate, but what I failed to mention is this is a proposed sequel to the dreadful 2012 film Iron Sky.

No words can express just how bad Iron Sky was. The concept was neat: Nazis hiding on the moon invade Earth in the modern day. But the actual thing was a mess, trying to be a political satire with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer and no clue how to do comedy. Don't take my word for it: Iron Sky is on Netflix. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Anyway, the trailer looks neat, I admit that. But I'm not going to crowdfund this film. It's sad, because I would love to see a tongue-in-cheek take on this sort of pulp . These filmmakers, however, don't have the skills to pull it off.

The not-Sarah Palin is pretty frightening.

Iron Sky ROCKED!

I think we'll have to agree to disagree on that.

What a vegetarian riding a meat eater, shock horror! Saw Iron Sky 'pure bad filming' but good pulp.
Cheers, love the idea of Hermann 'shooflyboy' Göring flying a fat Terrodactyl :)

But then my kids can tell a "dad movie" by the LACK of stars

Yeah, Iron Sky was awesome in concept and those early teaser trailers, but then it fell apart in its delivery (I agree with Sneakgun though – and the shoe-throwing scene was hilarious). The plot didn't make any sense at all, and it lost the creepiness the trailers had and was just schlock.

I really wanted to like it – I own the DVD, that's how much I wanted to like it…

On the other hand, I still have Hard Vacuum to play and a Star Reich project in 15mm.

Loved iron sky – just switch of brain and enjoy

Now looking forward to the next one – thanks for posting

If you look at it as 'syfy pulp'…..(note the way I spelled it, yes, that was INTENTIONAL)….then it will be more fun than yet another 'Sharknado etc'….but I'm not crowdfunding it…..

Ah man, its always sad when the trailers are the best part of a movie, but Iron Sky was so bad I confess I loved it. Can't wait for this one :)

I liked Iron Sky a lot!

Schlocky film are were true social comedy thrives.

if you hated Iron Sky, the dont waste your time with Nazis at the Center of the Eartg.

Who'd want to see Hitler's head on a giant stompy robot antway.

Iron Sky, as with Plan 9 from Ourt Space and others of their ilk, was awesomely horrid and should be embraced for the depth of its' awfulness.

This will undoubtedly be the greatest story ever told.

Dynaman878908 Nov 2014 11:57 a.m. PST

I liked Iron Sky as well, it was stupid but stupid fun. This one just looks stupid. The not Sarah Palin was a mutant or something this whole time? Really?

Double W08 Nov 2014 3:13 p.m. PST

No, Sarah Palin (and Hitler) are supposed to be Reptoids who live at the earth's core. It is one of the crazier conspiracy theories out there. And it involves Nazis in Antarctica.

The Nazi lady in lingerie in Iron Sky made it all worthwhile (and I have an Iron Sky mousepad). Other than that, I agree with bw though.
