Hi Everyone, I'm in the market for a handful of these 1/56 tanks, does anyone know if one manufacturer is better than the other? I've got some other tanks from both these outfits and have never been disappointed by either. Price is almost the same, so that doesn't matter. Anyone want to put forth any alternatives? |

I am waiting for some T-26's through Baker Co.'s Winter War Kickstarter. These will be crafted by Company B. In anticipation, I bought a Company B T-28 through BrigadeGames. One serious concern I have for the lifespan of that tank is the guns are cast in resin. I haven't put it to the test, but I worry that they will be extremely fragile. Now, in further anticipation (it's been a long wait), I bought a T-26 from Warlord Games. The hull and body were cast in resin, but I thought it quite clever of them to cast the barrels in pewter, to be glued on. Just seems like a more durable solution. Now, I haven't seen the Company B T-26 yet, so it's not a completely fair comparison. But I have some concerns. |

I have a T26 by Company B and I am very pleased with it. It went together easily and painted up quite well. I don't have a BT in my collection as yet so I can't give an honest assessment. I don't own anything by JTFM but I've seen some of their vehicles. They look great. Their vehicles are all resin while Company B's are resin and metal. So if you carry your stuff around a lot maybe you're better off with the JTFM product. Another company to consider are Army Group North. Their vehicles are very good, too. I'm afraid all I can really say is you're spoilt for choice. A happy dilemma. |

No BT-5 but AGNM has a variety of T-26 types (and the BT-7 if that would be a suitable substitute): link Addendum: AGNM models have metal barrels. The hulls and tracks are one piece, not requiring assembly although some have metal add-ons for the hull. |

I was under the impression that JTFM casts CompanyB's vehicles. |

Yes I cast the majority of Company B's vehicles. |

Thanks for all the responses guys! I have some older AGN vehicles but everything I own is base-less. Most of AGN's stuff now has bases attached, so they are out of the running. Call me crazy… Yeah, I've got the CoB T-28 complete with broken resin MG's. Going to repair them with piano wire. I think I'll wait to see if Lon at Brigade has a Thanksgiving sale, and pull the trigger. Gotta get some Barbarosa going! |

Going to repair them with piano wire. Just like real Soviet repairs! |
