Got some of the new Hittites form Foundry (ebay castingroom miniatures shop).
Very pleased with them as they actually look better in hand than on ebay (? painting style). They are more chunky than original Perry Hitties but blend in well despite being slightly taller. Very good match also for MDS (now at Minifigs). They are however very expensive at £12.00 GBP for 6!!! but add nice variety to your army if you can afford it. They should paint up very well.
Also got Steve Barber prehistoric slingers to use as Gutians in Sumerian army. While they don't have the stylised beard and hair with side locks seen in ancient images..They look pretty convincing as a clan of Gutian Hill tribes. Need to get these guys painted up and on blog.
