I think she's channeling Elvis…….

I think both of her ankles would be broken in those shoes.

Great War Ace06 Nov 2014 9:03 a.m. PST

That's, just ridiculous….

Tango0106 Nov 2014 10:52 a.m. PST

Agree!. (smile)
My first thought was: "Where is her guitar?" (smile)

I guess I'm the only one who was expecting:

She needs the sword to keep her from falling over.

A fantasy version of Elvis is possible. Just think of how his songs would be in a fantasy world.

You ain't nothin' but a half-orc
Just cryin' all the time
You ain't nothin' but a half-orc
Just cryin' all the time
Well, you ain't never killed a kobold
And you ain't no friend of mine.

Good call TS,
Sometimes HF figure names are pretty clear and sometimes they're rather opaque. I definitely think you have the right of it though.

jpattern207 Nov 2014 7:47 p.m. PST

Amazonia Gothique, absolutely.

And it's not the first homage that Kev has done to that painting. For example, Jenova:

Which harks back to the original Citadel AZ mini:

Replace the sword(?) with a guitar and I'd be sorely tempted.

ImhotepMagi08 Nov 2014 8:55 a.m. PST

Those are obviously Boots of Ankle Support +1.

tkdguy08 Nov 2014 3:09 p.m. PST

Amazonia Gothique would have made a great cover for Heavy Metal.

Hey, I actually have that issue of White Dwarf (#79).

Yes, she should have an axe instead of a sword…. ;-)

jpattern209 Nov 2014 11:04 a.m. PST

Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer went to a rock n' roll camp and one of the instructors, Brian Setzer IIRC, said, "Now, a guitar has many, many nicknames: an axe, a git-box . . . Well, I guess that's it."

Zephyr104 Dec 2014 3:23 p.m. PST

Does anybody know what name the center pic goes by? I know it's based on the Amazonia Gothique, but never knew they came out with one with a gun. Thanks!
