The first of my WW1 naval collection for The Battle of Jutland 1916. I finished a GHQ Kaiser-Class battleship painting it as Scheer's Flagship, "Friedrich der Große". More pics and data on the ship via the blog: blackpowdergames.blogspot.se |

That looks really nice. The rigging is a lovely addition. I love painting GHQ ships. They have so much prominent detail, they nearly paint themselves. Superb job on the water. Please tell us how you did that. - Ix |

I have never seen such detail on a GHQ ship. Impressive work! |

THANK YOU ALL VERY VERY MUCH FOR YOU KIND WORDS :0) I'm humbled here by your comments, and appreciate you guys taking the time to write your thoughts here. Thanks. The water is actually just VMC 898 "Dark Sea Blue", then highlighting waves with a 898 thinned with light grey. Finally some foam dotted on in clear white using a 0/5 brush. Very happy you all liked the result! All the best from a snowy Stockholm /Sören |
