I've dragged out some pack animals that I've had gathering dust for well over 30 years. I think I got them to use in an rpg but never did. Now, I think they'd be good for VBCW. Although it's not really important,I've forgotten the maker of the donkeys and I'd appreciate help in jogging the grey cells. As well as the donkeys, there are a couple of mules. They are at the back in the first photo, resplendent in their Humbrol gloss enamel paint (they are from the late seventies..!)and are actually the biggest of the group – there's a Perry figure near them for size comparison. These (the mules) I know are early Citadel – it's the donkeys I can't place. In fact, there are 3 different donkey figures. They may be from 3 different makers or all from the same – I don't know.
One of each donkey (plus the mules)in a line:
Thanks in advance for helping me scratch this itch… Doug |

Thanks, Steve – I was pretty certain some were Dixons so that's confirmed which. Doug |

I think that the first two are Citadel pre slotbase figures and the fourth is a Hincliffe mule. |

Andoreth is correct, the 1st 2 in the bottom picture are Citadel Expedition mules (FS29-2). Top picture, row 2 from top, 1st looks like an old RAFM "beast of burden". I don't recognise any of the donkeys. |

If you have the light coming over one of your shoulders, it will light up the side of the miniatures facing the camera. |

I think that row 3 (1st pic) are Hinchliffe – animals came with separate plug-in loads |

Agree – the mules are Citadel. I've got one somewhere. No idea on the donkeys from me either. |
