Hey, I haven't bought the rules, I probably will, at $8 USD, why not? I just wanted to know how easy or straightforward it is to create(convert) Marvel/DC characters in Power Legion, any thoughts on that or suggestions? This is a big selling point for me is why I ask. I'm not unfamiliar with the Song of Blades and Heroes rules, I've got them and I've played them a few times and had fun, so I know it's a solid rule system. Thanks! |

Ive just recently run across these rules myself, and was wondering about them. While I cant answer your question directly, during my 'research', I did run across this fella's blog who has a ton of Marvel characters (maybe DC too?) converted dinahcatofdanger.blogspot.it EDIT – yeah, there are some DC characters out there too |

I have the rules but haven't done more than read through them quickly (not a comment on the rules, more on my project priorities). It should be do-able, there's been some superhero design proposals on the Ganesha Games Yahoo group and Andrea's been really good (as usual) helping with any design questions. Some very specific powers might need to wait for a supplement Andrea's hinted at, but the core game comes with a pretty flexible design system. |

I'll check out the blog, I think I've seen some of that before. I did some searching on the yahoo group, but it's been a while back when the rules were first released so I probably need to search again… I'm mostly looking to create stats for the typical heroes (Avengers, X-men, Spiderman, daredevil, sinister syndicate, brotherhood, etc…) and from DC Flash, Green Arrow, Batman, Robin, Superman(probably the hardest) and their various enemies. Thanks!

I've continued adding to the Power Legion stats on my Blog and now have about 55 posts of stats for mostly Marvel with some DC and a post for Hellboy and another for The Authority. It's at link |

Probably there are a few (very few) characters that cannot be statted up with the current choice of powers. For example, there is no Shrinking power in the rules, as I found Shrinkers difficult to represent in a tabletop game. It's one of those powers that require lots of rules and exceptions, so I felt I'd better leave that out from the core book. I am working on a supplement so if you see anything missing which is preventing you from statting up your favorite hero drop me a mail at andreasfiligoi@gmail.com with your suggestions. Thanks! |
