Dear all,
I have looked in Google in vain for information on the uniforms etc. of the French Army in 1823 during the Spanish Expedition. Detaille's book suggests that they were in the traditional colours of blue for infantry and artillery, with the Valee artillery system, green for Chasseurs and Dragoons, and the usual mixture for Hussars, with dragoons in a crested helmet, but no more detail than that. Knotel has the infantry in a single breasted coat, and the Chasseurs in green dolmans. Can anybody help, or point me in the right direction please? thanks
