I just have some questions to see if I want to get it. My roommate and I have fall in love with G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T. The questions I have are as follows: What size base for artillery, infantry and vehicles? How many miniatures/bases are used in an average game? Does the game work well for interwar period? |

Glad to hear you have become GASLIGHT fans! The standard unit base size in LSNC: WWII is 3" x 1.5" . A player usually controls a battalion of about 12-15 bases. We use 10mm figures and put 2 vehicles or 10 infantry on a base. Folks have also used the rules with everything from 2mm to 20mm figures, just adjusting the numbers of figures used to fit the bases. I would think the rules would work fine for interwar. For more information, please visit the website: link |

So artillery is two guns to a base I take it? |

Yes, that is what we do. Though it ultimately depends on your choice of scale and what looks good to you. 15mm players put only one, 6mm players may put 3 if they think it looks better. |

To help during the games, I usually mount my heavy guns with two on a base and my light and medium guns with one on a base. This allows me to look across the table and find the heavy guns quickly. |

Buck is talking about the Napoleonic rules in his comment, which uses a slightly different basing than the WWII does. |

How is Cavalry based in World War 2? I prefer to fight the Eastern Front over the Western. The Russians used a ton of cavalry during the war so that is why I ask. |

On the same basic 3" x 1.5" stand |

I meant number of figures. |

I put 5 or 6 10mm cavalry figures on each base. |
