Very nice indeed. But where is the Lombard infantry resisting the French advance? Inside these splendid villas perhaps? Thanks for the posting! |

But where is the Lombard infantry resisting the French advance? Inside these splendid villas perhaps? In 1813 the Lombards were part of the Kingdom of Italy, the titular ruler of which was Napoleon. So they would be fighting with the French, not resisting them. The only Lombards resisting the "French advance" in those villas are most certainly female. |

Superb repost Mserafin! I was so busy looking at the pics I ignored the title of the post. And Tango do I detect some experience in how to overcome resistance perhaps? Cheers |

Tango do I detect some experience in how to overcome resistance perhaps? "his conquests include 640 women and girls in Italy, 231 in Germany, 100 in France, 91 in Turkey, but in Spain, 1,003!" Tango is actually Don Giovanni! |

Or perhaps Don Tangovanni, Giovanni's half brother, who fled to Argentina to avoid Giovanni's indescriminate pursuers, changed his name and start a new life… |
