I was looking at these rules for operational level games using 6mm figures. Are there any online resources for them? |

If you search through old copies of the Nugget (online magazine of Wargames Development) you will see some scenarios for OP14. Unfortunately, that's about all there is online. |

Trebian has been working them out for WWI using 15mm group bases … if you haven't been to that blog already, you might find it interesting … Wargaming4grownups/OP14 Phil P.B.Eye-Candy |

I've used them with 6mm, 15mm and 20mm figures, all based. It isn't hard, just substitute bases for figures and keep track of unit strengths. The author doesn't really do the internet, so there aren't any online resources for them, just odd blog posts. As Phil says, trebian has done some stuff with them, so have I and there are also a fair number of posts on Tim gows blog. |

The rules are not too bad to follow, and are pretty complete in themselves. What you need to make them work well is the leg work on the scenarios and orbats. I used Martin R's Peronne and published the map and orbats on the blog (link above). I think Martin just took the info straight from the Osprey Kaiserschlacht book. The local library has a copy of the Official History which I keep promising myself I'll go and look it up for WW1 game material. |
