OK a little early to ask but given the sudden unexpected demise of the 2014 event, has anyone heard, or is anyone from the Newbury and Reading Wargames Society prepared to comment, on the chances of the 2015 event happening at Newbury or elsewhere? Alternatively, if there is an an internal club process still to be finalized about the event would anyone care to speculate on a date when an announcement might appear? |

Ripe for some good guessing methinks? Yeah! Mind you, a lot of that went on when the plug was pulled on the 2014 event. I'm not looking to drag all that up again – whatever it was – its only that their demo game arrangements were often less than slick and it would be good to know as far in advance as possible if there's a show to attend or not! Always enjoyed going to Colours since it moved to the Racecourse and it would be good if it makes a return! |

Yes, Colours will be back 12th, September 2015. It will still be held at the Newbury race course but will only be a one day show. Bookings for traders are already being taken and planning is in full swing for competitions. Keep an eye on the website for updates colours.org.uk/colours Tony |
