I've been revisiting an old favourite game of mine recently – 'Form Line of Battle'. I reminded myself of how to play by refighting the action off Flamborough Head, in which John Paul Jones took the Serapis: link I then ran the 1781 Battle of Dogger Bank for my wargames group: link Both games were great fun, and reminded me why I like 'Form Line of Battle', with its quirky mechanics, so much. |
