Will someone kindly identify this (28mm) figure for me. I have had no success on my own. Thank you.

picture

I want to purchase and use it in the context of A Very British Civil War command figure. To my eye, it resembles Clem Attlee, the Labour leader in the late-1930s. Endless possibilities.

Dom Skelton, thanks for those links. Very helpful and very interesting.

I'd lost the link and was making an embarrasing hash of trying to re-discover it again. I am getting old, you know!! old fart

Thanks again

No worries – I'm lucky that my Google-fu is strong…. ;-)

You know, I think I like the figure painted in the original post better than the one on the link. Both nice paint jobs, but the color is a better look for the sculpture in the original post.

Just my own thoughts.

45thdiv, I totally agree with your view. Both nice paint jobs, but the khaki/brown colour sets the sculpt off. Great figure.

Paul Hicks at his best. A great VBCW figure

Absolutely. He is a very talented sculptor of mini-figures.
