So, I just got my hands on Sharp Practice and picked up a couple of boxes of Perry plastic British and French, along with some plastic cavalry figures. What would be recommended for using as Big Men? Just figures from the basic line infantry plastics on suitably elaborate bases? Or, should I order some officer figures to represent the Big Men? Mounted? Dismounted? Just want to get some ideas. Thanks in advance! |

I'm interested in this as well. Looking to pick up the rules at Fall-in…I have French cavalry now and intend on getting a box of French line and British line troops as well along with rifles and a few mounted leaders and suitable dismounted versions.. |

Truth is you could do a grand job on a few plastics for 'Big Men" I have built some nice character figures from the plastics, and I've gotten a few Mounted and others as well. So to answer, yes to both, and I have a soft spot for my plastic ones, I've done a few head swaps amounts the differing kits as well to give them some individual characters. Cheers, lots of fun and happy gaming. |

Infantry need big men for officers and NCOs. Most will be on foot. If the rank and file are on round bases put the big men on square bases or vice versa. |
