I'm working on a model which has some minor problems. First, it looks like the fins were repositioned, and there are still noticeable grooves where they used to be. Second, perhaps due to age of the mold, there are several pits in the metal surface. What would you recommend for filling in problems on a metal model? |

GW makes a briush on "green stuff". I haven't tried it yet but I have a repair project that I'd like to give a go on this winter. I think it works like regular green stuff in the sense that it is "machinable" ( IE can be carved, sanded, filed, etc.) |

If the pits are deep or longer than a 1/4" I'd go with 3M Acryl Filler. If they are small and not deep then Mr. Surfacer 500. Clean the area first with Lacquer Thinner, air dry, then fill. |

At this time I have been using two part epoxies for repair and gap filling. Seems to be working well for that. |
