What is the normal turn around time for an order? I ordered a bit ago and have not gotten it yet?

Send Jon an email – his turn around time is pretty good…

War Monkey31 Oct 2014 6:33 p.m. PST

Yup, just drop him a line, I agree he is very good.

Weasel31 Oct 2014 6:48 p.m. PST

From my experience, a week or so, maybe a bit less.

Twoball Cane31 Oct 2014 6:57 p.m. PST

It takes a few weeks typically….but worth the wait

I think it can take a while sometimes. He closes the website (like it is right now) when he gets backed up with orders.

I've ordered a ton of minis from Jon. I get delivery in a week to a week and a half. Well worth the wait and all of the figures and vehicles are the best 15mm stuff I've ever seen.

Richard Gaulding31 Oct 2014 8:35 p.m. PST

Every order I every placed arrived within a week. In fact, the joke used to be that he had a wormhole set up in his garage because, damned, the shipment time is fast.

However, he is also a one-man operation so if he goes out of town, has family emergencies, or any of the other myriad problems that can crop up, shipment times can affected. Usually, if the problem is actually going to affect him just just shuts the webstore down, catches up on orders, and reopens again.

Took a few weeks on my order due to stock levels but everything I ordered arrived and with a good quality.

I received two M-34 tanks that I ordered recently in six
days. Great looking models.

Allen5701 Nov 2014 6:38 a.m. PST

Placed a fairly large order which took about a month to arrive. It included an apology for the delay explaining that several items were out of stock and had to be casted before he could fill the order. This was the third time I have ordered from him. I would not worry about the delay.

Every order I have made was pretty speedy.

I live in the US and I think the most its ever taken was 16 days, BUT, he usually tells you why before the wait. Why its might take longer than a week or so (normal). Very good communicator.

tberry740301 Nov 2014 8:02 a.m. PST

He used to have a very speedy delivery time.

Then his great variety of figures made him VERY popular.

Now he gets so many orders he has to shutdown down his site just to get caught up!

Price you pay for providing what the people want and being a one-man shop.

His stuff is well worth the wait, so just hold on it'll get to you.

Living in the uk delivery is usually a couple or so weeks and give Jon his due he did email me to say there would be a delay due to re stocking

Mike G01 Nov 2014 10:35 a.m. PST

I contacted him and I got a response in about ten minutes. I really did not have any complaints, I know most of these are one man operations. I can see that his miniatures are outstanding and I will certainly be ordering from him again.

He's almost on par with GZG, so much so you swear they both have a warp portal or something.

McWong7301 Nov 2014 2:53 p.m. PST

What minis did you get mate?

infojunky01 Nov 2014 5:25 p.m. PST

Whether you wait a week, two weeks, a month, or a year, IMHO Jon's figures and models are ALWAYS worth the wait!evil grin

I am going start delving into 15mm Sci Fiction. I have strictly been a 6mm collector/player, both aircraft and vehicles. Below is a link to a 28mm miniature that I painted, my first. I decided 15mm is more the scale I want to use.

link

I bought

15mm Drakon-T Advanced Tracked Tank

15mm Grifon-T Advanced Tracked APC

15mm Nova Respublik BTR3000 wheeled APC

I got a new airbrush and I am going to use it on these. I am going to be using Tomorrows War by Ambush Ally Games, published by Osprey. I know that a lot of people think that it is a confusing rule set, but my group have a lot of experience running Ambush Ally Games. One of our group helped write a scenario book for one of their rule sets. We also play tested some of their rule sets.

I plan on putting a white/gray/drak gray green splinter pattern on the Drakon units and I am not sure what I will be doing on the Nova Republik unit. I will post the end results here.

Welcome to 15mm! She'll never do you wrong.

Cacique Caribe02 Nov 2014 8:36 a.m. PST

I've never had any delivery issues with Khurasan. Always get the figures within two weeks' time. A couple of times within 3-4 days.

Mike, you're going to love the models. While I share the love amongst all the great guys making 15mm sf toys, Jon has always been my favorite.
