If you are happy with them, that is all that counts. If you have opponents who yurn up their nose and say "Those aren't the official figures, I certainly cannot play against you!" then they aren't worth playing with anyways. I like what you have done. |

Those are great.I myself have been rebuilding my Orcs and Goblins very cheaply for Kings of War.Schleich and Safari make a number of creatures which are carried at Michael's,and when combined with 50% off coupons make large creatures very affordable. |

No you are not. You should try and find cheaper ways to get models than buying certain ones at $20 USD+ just for one. |

A very creative conversion! Where did you get those clear-plastic bases? |

Where did you get the beasties? |

Thanks for the positive feedback. Nice to see that so many people are of a similar opinion regarding outrageous pricing and using alternatives. dBerczerk: The clear plastic bases are GW flying bases without the stems. Ratbone: The creatures themselves are from a toy chain in the UK (The Entertainer). They are "How to train your dragon" figures but were, bizarrely, marked up in Italian. I guess that means they were available elsewhere in the EU but couldn't tell you if they were sold in the US. |
