Alaex from Shipyards let me know due to some sponcership he has realeased some previos 10/1mm i.e 1:144 only models at 1:100 (15mm). I have to say they are excellent as we (Maneouver Group) paid for the original 1:144 masters ;-). The M577 is currently my command vehicle in the biggest battle ever to grace our table even though I an skulking right at the back) One thing to note as part of the deal the M113 turrets are avialable seprately so you can use your own hull and just use a shipyards turret which may be cheaper. Fennek link comes with mast up and a mast lowered but not full stowed. M113A link M901 TOW link Comes with a mast up and mast stowed M981 FISTV link Comes with a mast up and mast stowed M577 link Looking at the links some are digital photos but the Tow platoon has an actual picture of the vehicles. |

Its been around for ages in 1:144. Its one I had done as I use late is Germans. There will be a lepard 2 based Bridge layer in 1:144 next week, but the 15mm one will be a bit later. Sheduled at chrismas is a Buffel at 1:144 which means there will be a 15mm version eventually. |

It is! There is a Revell Kit at 1/72 and its wrong! I looked at the master for the 1:144 and moaned dreadfully about how far it was out compared to the Revell model, only to be shown several pictures of the real thing that clearly showed the error in the Revell kit. Currently Shipyards only produces masters that are mot available in 1`:144, or 15mm of vehicals not available elsewhere. Unless they have to do the base vehical first. They are the models no one wants to produce as they do not sell in big numbers. Hence even in 3D print they are not cheap but may never be available elsewhere. I should add 1/72. Shipyards does have a Tracked Rapier but that is very expensive and is realisticaly only avaiable direct through Shipyards off the 3D home printer, as it would be too expensive to print at Shapeways. |
