Ramshackle has a new kickstarter. link Called "Minimus Squats Bounty hunter crew" but any Squat fan worth his salt knows this is a land train!
I don't have the scratch for the whole thing, but I might pledge for the figs, especially since it looks like you can mix and match at will. |

Probably a decade or two late to the game, but fun nonetheless. |

Yup, GW killed off the Squats. |

From what I understand Squats are popular as proxy minis in a kind of "up yours GW" kind of way. In any case, theyre popular enough that its funded and that I want it for no discernable reason. Shiny shiny. |

Yes, plenty of 'not-Squat' miniatures out there that people proxy as Imperial Guard or Space Marines, depending on their take. -Will |

Without the figures that might do very nicely for VSF |

I'm a squat fan myself, and am slowly painting up the army's worth of squats that I have. It is very much a flipping-the-bird to GW, since I don't play 40k anymore, but I love the figs. The few I have painted have already seen action in ITEN and as the army grows they will probably be used in Warengine and Warpath as well. I'm not sure about the paddy wagon rear trailer, but I really like how he captured the profile and essence of the Squat Land Train in a much scaled-down model. I'd love to see a more heavily armed gun trailer like the old epic model. |

That rear trailer could just be a supply wagon or something. I'll confess I had no idea exactly what this was when I first saw it. I thought it was just another example of Curtis making whatever the hell he wants! But now that I see it's a love letter to old school Squats, it's even more awesome. |

GW killed of Genestealer Hybrids too, but I get mine from Ebay. Just coz some 'suit' in GW Head Office decides to pull the plug on something, it doesn't follow that we all have to agree with 'em. |

The rear vehicle is billed as either prisoner holding or an ammo carrier. Note you can also get an APC--and yes, of course I did. My bikers will arrive this fall. We Squats are a hardy, long-lived race. We'll still be around when Games Workshop makes one mistake too many. |

Still have my squat army..used to just play them as Imp Guard. My way of giving GW the finger for a change. |

It's a good effort for a land train but a little small… however, I guess it would be more appropriate sized for the tabletop. I'm also a big fan of Squats and have been working on an army using the old plastic boxed sets…no painting yet: TMP link Ramshackle has also been running a kickstarter for Squat bikers that may be of interest: link |
