Is there a game in the Song of Blades and Heroes family for Old West games? It seems like this mechanic would work well with that genre, but I didn't see one? Maybe another game that would mod into Old West with a few tweaks. Thanks. |

Song of Drums and Shakos can be tweaked for Old West, as can the original SBH. It all depends on how crunchy you want the Old West flavour to be. |

Flying Lead is probably the straightest set, but Flashing Steel with the reload rules removed might work for something more cinematic. |

I think Flashing Steel is your best bet of the Ganesha-published games, but Fistful of Kung Fu (written for Osprey) is is worth considering if you are going for a cinema type feel. Though a "Hong Kong Cinema" ruleset, it's designed for games to feel like action movies and has rules that cover things like using found objects in combat (beer bottles, chairs, etc…) and where you throw your opponent (through a saloon window perhaps?) as well as special abilities for the main characher/hero/protagonist. Like "Of Gods and Mortals" it also adds a bit of a reaction mechanic to the SBH engine. |

Song of muskets and tomahawks: link May be useful? |

I used Songs of Drums and Shakos quite successfully (ignore the reload rule). Muskets & Tomahawks is SDS on a smaller scale. Either rules work well… |

I have a ruleset almost ready, but I need to translate it into English, I guess I will publish it around March/April 2015. |
