I've just built 10 t34/76 and 4 t34/85.
These models are a bit of a curates egg.
Good in parts.
Not quite so good in others.
Pros
=====
Cheap – a tenner for 2
Look pretty good on the table
Good surface detail
Look to be correct proportions
Nice track sag
Cons
====
No waffle pattern on tracks
Poor fit in some areas
Poor quality plastic
Slightly dodgy fit in places ( bit nothing too bad ).
Some tips
The plastic doesn't dissolve with most styrene cements like you would expect. Make sure you keep the tabs on the fiddly bits like hooks.
I found it best to use contacta professional ( the needle container stuff ) to gap fill and finish with a bit of Ambroid pro weld once small parts were in place. That Ambroid stuff is extremely powerful and dissolves the plastic so you get that bit better bond.
Some of the parts fit are a bit dodgy – expect to fill hull top and base joints at front and rear.
You also need to work on the joint at turret cheeks.
The t34/76 turret halves don't fit closely unless you shave the end off the locator posts. I put contacta round the join from the inside and then pressed together firmly to get a good fit.
I made a green stuff press mold style dibber for the track pattern from green stuff on a bit of sprue. Spread apoxie sculp on the visible bits of track. Once it'd gone off for half an hour or so I prodded it with my dibber.
The instructions for the t34/85 mantlet show it the wrong way up. The gun is offset to the right and the slot in the mantlet goes down. You need to point the mantlet right up as you locate it and then it goes over the plate thing on the turret bottom. You'll know what I mean if you try and do anything else because it won't fit.
Overall I'm fairly pleased with these kits, considering the price. If you're picky then maybe you should be looking at unimodel. At maybe 4 times the price.
