The 2nd edition of Irregular Wars: Conflict at the World's End is on track for a release in the first week of Christmas. The rules will be available as a softcover book from Amazon (all the Amazons, whether you use .com, .co.uk, .jp, .de, .nl of whatever). Alternatively, you will be able to purchase the rules as a pdf file downloadable from Vexillia Ltd. Existing customers who have previously bough earlier versions of the rules will be able to upgrade to the 2nd edition pdf for a special reduced price (under £2.00 GBP). However, while the final proofing and editing has been going on, Martin from Vexillia Ltd and I have been chatting about the best way to make the professionally produced chance cards I designed available to those gamers who want them. In order to determine the best way forward Martin has put together a short questionnaire to see what you guys think about the issue. I'd be much obliged if you would have a look here link For more information on the game, check out the Irregular Wars blog link

I want both the hard copy and the cards for Christmas-I have a ton of Blue Moon tribals from their Darkest Africa line on order for pick up at Fall in.My Spaniards.Tudors and Medieval Irish are already painted! |

I've never understood why cards should be preferred to a dice-driven chart. Just one more item to store and to lose. |

Sobeiski, there are 52 of them and each player gets three at the start of each game. Many are kept secret until used. Cards are much simpler than extra rolling of dice and record keeping. That said, all the text is provided in the book, so if players prefer to make a rolling chart, that's up to them : ) |

There are a number of rule sets now that use cards in some fashion, none of which I have.I want these though,as for once,I want the added bells and whistles. |

I find cards to be quicker in play than dice charts, at least where the cards have significant game text on them. YMMV |

Attractive components add a lot to a game. It's why most of us prefer nice, painted miniatures to chits, if they can help it. |
